Nepal Team Succeeded to Score 1st and 2nd position

Nepal Team welcomes to the Tribhuban International Airport who has scored first and second position in the "Nepal-China International Match-2017" was held on 16-19, June, 2017 at Lhasa.  In Kayak Mr. Disesh Yadav hold the first record and in Rafting Mr. Nim Bahadur Thapa Magar, Mr. Ramji Shedhai, Mr. Dhiraj B.C and Sunil Gurungs' team hold the second record at the approximately 3800 Meter high altitude runner river match side in Tibet. NARA President Mr. Chandra Bahadur Dahal and Secretary Mr. Shiva Adhikari was represented as the official of the team. At the welcome meeting at NARA secretary, Paknajol, all the five winner team announced to contribute rupees one hundred thousand (NRs. 1,00,000) for the rafting athletes who is participating to "World Rafting Championship-2017" in Japan from their cash prize. 

All the members of team looks so pride that they have succeeded to hold the record in the friendship match was organized by Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) and China Tibet Mountaineering Association (CTMA) first time in Lhasa. President Mr. Dahal added this types of friendship match is the first step to tie the bilateral relation to Nepal and China. Secretary Mr. Adhikari says this can be a milestone to promote the tourism for both countries and it gain the opportunities for the rafting and kayak guides.

Durga Dutta Dhakal, Executive Director of Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management(NATHM) distributed  the "Letter of Appreciation" for the guide training Instructors and temporary guide identification certificates to the 51 trainees as a chief guest at the "River Guide Trainin-2018" closing ceremony on 19th Janauary, 2018 at Charaudi, Trisuli River, organized by NARA and NATHM (7-19th January) 13 days long practical training.

Maheshwar Neupane Secretary and Joint Secretary Ghanashyam Upadhaya of MoCTCA, honored higher foreign currency earning in three categories in tourism industries of Nepal. Similarly Deepak Raj Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board awarded to other category for domestic tourism promoter.

Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) Executive Committee, Staffs and NARA member companies participated at the rally with the slogan of banner "Sustainable Tourism-A Tool for Development" – 2017. NARA EC has announced the "Rafting Program" on 25th September from Tribhuban International Airport and Pokhara Airport for 6 and 4 first coming international tourists to Trisuli and Upper Seti River.

River Guide Refresher Training Kicks off

Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies(NARA) organized the two days "River Guide Refresher Training-2017" for the  rafting guide certificate holder guides in a cooperation with Nepal Tourism Board from today on September 19, 2017 at Trisuli River.  

According to the training coordinator and NARA Secretary Visma Raj Thapaliya, President Nim B. Magar, Vice-President Kamal Thakuri, Secretary Vishma Raj Thapaliya and Dipak Nepal are participating as instructor-river. In First Aid Training Janardan Ghimire and in Leadership & Motivation Training Krishna Ghimire are also participating as instructors in the training.Similarly IPP Chandra P. Dahal, Executive Memeber Bishnuhari Silwal, Uddhab Kadel and Raju Khadka is participating at the refresher training program. It is believed that 60 participants would be taking parts in the training.

Thapa exchange all the documents and Minute book to the elected General Secretary Shankar Adhikari and ongoing Treasurer Jagat B. His team was succeeded to win the election, General Secretary Shiva Adhikari, Treasurer Shishir Khanal and Joint-Treasurer Rita Adhikari has already been declared.   Elected team was congratulated with Khada by NARA Past Presidents Kumar Ranabhat (Founder G.S),  Mahindra Singh Thapa and  I.P President Nanikaji Thapa in a program at the hall. Rescues Team of NARA have been working to Tarai areas since the couple of days with rafting gears to rescue the flood victims in a joint co-ordination of Armed Police Force of Nepal. In NARA history, organization has been playing a vital role in rescue mission whenever nation faced natural disaster and human catastrophic of flood.
